Do not attend Fresno State if you do not like agriculture, or the smell of livestock. Parking is scarce, so do not attend if you hate wasting time and gas driving around parkinglots looking for a good spot. Anyone looking for a graduate school should also not attend. Budgets and programs have been cut, and many of the graduate programs are paying for it.

Students who barely did enough to get by in high school should not attend fresno state because fresno state is dedicated to provding the best education possible and slackers will not make it. Students who do not want to attend a big university should not consider fresno state because there are over 20 thousand students here. Also those students who want to live close to the beach when attending college shouln't come here because we are located in the central valley which is not very close to the coast.

A person who does not like to show up to class and do work should not attend Fresno State. Those who fail classes at Fresno State are those students who don't show up to class, do not participate, and do not do their work. Also, a person who is looking for a big party school should not attend Fresno State because this school focuses more on academics and education rather than having fun.

CSU Fresno is a pretty diverse school that accomidates the majority of it's students. However, I believe that kids who do not have an interest in the ag field or business and health fields than they would not fair well there. Also, those who love the city life would not acclimate well there at all.

If you are someone that does not like great weather and ethnic diversity and an opportunity to have fun and travel to some of the most exciting places in the world, then you should probably not consider CSU-Fresno. If you are a person that does not like to socialize and 'get out' to do new and interesting things and meet new people from all walks of life, then you should probably not consider CSU-Fresno.
Chelsea
A type of student who is just going to school for the "college experience" and drinks away mom and dads money. There are alot of students who want to go to school to futher their education and others who just want to play around and enjoy the freedom. Students who are not going to take their classes and work seriously should not attend this school.

Someone who is unwilling to make a change if they are unhappy should not attend here. Fresno State offers many clubs and organizations. The Fresno area has little to offer compared to many other areas of the world, and therefore, students need to join a group or team so that they feel comfortable. I was lucky enough to become a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, and in doing so I felt comfort and friendships were formed. Being alone can be scary at times expecially when you are away from home, but joining a group makes a big difference.
