Bowie State University Top Questions

The parking honestly is the most frustrating thing at Bowie State University. Especially for those which all courses taken in the MLK building. We commuter students are limited to the extremely small parking lot located next to the MARC Train while the faculty/Staff have the biggest parking lot in front of the MLK building and to add fuel to the fire they also have another parking lot located next to the small parking lot located to the MARC train. Bowie State University has to be midful that this a rapidly growing, communter based institution of learning.

Cafetaria

The most frustrating thing is that you always get the run around when an error occurs [i.e. financial aid, registry/enrollment, student account glitches, etc.] The time that the administration building takes to do things can be very lenghthy and sometimes is never fixed. For example, the MD Senatoral Scholarship was taken away from me for the past year and a half due to an error that the registrar's office made about me being enrolled in school and was never fixed. So therefore, my tuition has been, at the least, $1000 more every year.

The service provided from the administration. The lack of quality in all the food served on campus. The lack of housing. The lack of acknowledgment and respect for the University Band program.

I would say that the most frustrating thing about Bowie State is the staff in some of the offices. The last thing that a student wants to deal with is employees with bad attitudes or who give you the run around for everything.

The rules for incoming freshman.

The most fustrating thing about my school is that it does not have wireless internet connection in the dorms. We have to use an ethernet cord and alot of times the connection completely gives out. We are then force to go to the computer lab which is fine until the it closes because it is not open 24 hours.

The most frustrating thing about my school is the fact that I have to walk all arounf campus in order to get something done and or completed.

The most frustrating thing about my school is making new classes online. The process is sometimes arduous and troublesome. Many times when I try to make classes online, I encounter a setback.

The most frustrating thing is rude staff. During the admission process, that alone was no fun and to know the ones that are supposed to be making your transition just the opposite of stressful are the ones adding the stress can be dreading...But maybe 2 out of the 15 different people i spoke with were not my most favorite people, so that's great!
