Bowie State University Top Questions

The most frustrating at Bowie State would be the parking because there is plenty of space but that can cause traffic at times.

The school does not have a great deal of activities to participate in.

The most fustrating thing about my school is the location. My school is located in a city where the buses are an hour apart and they stop running at 8 pm leaving anyone who lives on campus with no means of transportation.

The must frustrating thing about Bowie was the transition from a high school senior to a college freshman. I was so nerous about adjusting to a new environment and what my experience would be like. However, those fears would soon shatter as when I began my classes the students and professors were very welcoming and I felt like a community and not an individual who is isolated.

The most frustrating this about my school is the food. We pay so much money but we are provided with the worst food ever.

The most frustationg thing about my school is sometimes administration can be slow when processing your paperwork in a timely manner. You have to constantly stay on top of them to make sure everything gets done and completed.

While being an awesome institution of higher learning, Bowie State University's lower-level faculty leaves much to be desired when one is going through the grueling application and enrollment process. When a student tries to receive the most miniscule amount of help, they are instantly greeted with poor attitudes and an overall lack of information. To receive proper help and information, it is ALWAYS necessary to seek higher level authority.

Bowie State University can be frustrating because it does not have a variety of clubs to join. Most of the clubs offer the same thing, but they just have a different name.

The most frustrating thing about BSU is recieving financial aid and housing. Housing at Bowie is very limited, we have a lot of students, and housing doesnt even make up for half of us. As far as the apartments on campus, they overcharge and then treat them like your living in a regular dorm because of all of the restrictions. Financial aid is entirely too hard to receive because they have very few scholarhips. Bowie also waits until the very last minute to tell you if you have documents that need to be turned in, in order to receive aid.

The most frustrating thing about school is time management. If you do not know how to balance your time, than that it is when everything starts to go down hill from there. You need to beable to prioritize your time know exactly what is more important than anything else.
