The type of person for this school has to have a willingness to be open-minded. There is a wonderful blend of diversity on this campus within faculty and students. It is an extremly liberal campus, but you are also able to find someone with the same outlook on life as yourself. As an athlete, it was a little difficult to be included in groups other than jocks. However, once I made an effort to others they were willing to except me for me. There are plenty of cultural opportunities encouraged over-seas exchange.

Someone who is looking for a broader learning experience and now just a specific field of study. You take courses not related to your major/minor that are necessary and very helpful in future endevors. They must apply for financial aid or have a savings account though, for the school is pricy. They give great financial aid though, so don't let the cost scare you.

I believe that Beloit College might fit the best for students who have not yet chosen a field of study or a area of career they might want to pursue because Beloit College is liberal arts school that allows every student to take a variety of classes and really push him/her to develop her own ability to think critically so that he/she be able to make decisions that really allows his/her future to be associated with things that he/she values and enjoys the most.
