It is one of the best I have visited during my recruiting process. For starters, the students on the campus are very welcoming and are always ready to meet new people. Whenever I met the professor for my major, he was ready to help me get into the sports management business by showing me what they do throughout the year for internships and what they do in the summer. Overall, this is a great school and I'm very excited for what is to come for me at this school.

Baldwin Wallace University is a great college for anyone considering. The professors are fantastic and easily accessible. Because it's a small school, you will get to know plenty of people; this is beneficial for introverts. There are many different clubs, sororities, and fraternities for all majors/minors. Beautiful campus year-round.

Baldwin Wallace University is the perfect small school atmosphere. We have a world-class education and many successful athletic teams. The campus has beautiful architecture. The professors truly care about you and want to see you succeed. There are also plenty of ways to get involved on campus. I hope that you consider becoming a Yellow Jacket like me!

So far, I have a good experience and have met nice people ready to help. The services are good, the food can be improved, but that isn't something significant for me. Education during this pandemic is excellent, mostly all classes are hybrid, and students can request to be fully online. There some virtual events that are enjoyable and interesting.

I would tell myself to take really good care of my health, try to use every opportunity to use work study, learn how to drive and get an internship. Take advantage of the internship opportunities and make friends with the people who you wanted to get to know better, DO NOT take research classes with a certain professor, follow your gut because most of the time you were right.

When I visited Baldwin-Wallace college I experienced a very community oriented campus. Everyone was extremely open and friendly which surprised me. I did not feel uneasy in beginning a conversation with someone I did not know because no matter what the major of the other student was, you could talk about almost anything! Another thing was when I visited I met the staff/professors who seemed to go out of their way no matter what to show me all about the departments I was interested in for the future.

  11. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

My school makes us take surveys at the end of every semester in regards to our professors. It is frustrating to find out that professors who continuously get bad reports are still teaching.... And then have no choice to take a class from him/her.

  12. What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

I wish I had known about more classes that were interesting to me on an intellectual level that may not have been included in my major. I would have loved to take more classes that, although may not have been required by major, were socially and intellectually stimulating. For example, although I may be a music major, I would have liked to take more political theory courses during my first two years of college.
