Desert Financial Foundation’s Adult Learners Scholarship
In 1939, fifteen educators pooled together all their money – just $78.75 – to start a credit union for teachers. To honor the legacy of our founding, we offer the Desert Financial Foundation Adult Learners Scholarship to members ages 25 or older. In 2024, 30 applicants will be selected to receive $3,000 each in scholarship funds, to be distributed directly to the Arizona-based college, university or professional certification program of their choice.

MPOWER Financing’s Global Citizen Scholarship
This scholarship is available for international students who are currently enrolled in an MPOWER partner college or university within the United States. To apply, students must complete an online application and submit an essay of up to 1,000 characters in length.
Citizens Bank Undergraduate Scholarship
The Citizens Bank Undergraduate Scholarship is open only to those legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are seventeen (17) years of age or older at the time of application and who will be enrolled as an undergraduate in accredited post-secondary institution of higher learning for the current and upcoming school year. The CU Succeed Scholarship is available for high school seniors who are members of the Arizona Central Credit Union in Phoenix, Glendale, Tempe, Chandler, Flagstaff, or Show Low in Arizona.
“Better than a Loan” Scholarship
The Lendza “Better than a Loan” scholarship is available for current undergraduate students in the U.S. who are 18 years of age or older. To apply, students must submit a completed application, an essay, and must submit a Tweet in response to the question posed in the scholarship application.
Vantage West Scholarship
This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students who are attending or plan to attend a postsecondary institution in Arizona. The student or his/her parent/legal guardian must be a member of Vantage West Credit Union.
