Curwen-Guidry Scholarship Fund
Residents of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, or Texas who are graduating high school seniors currently bowling in a USBC-sanctioned league are eligible for this award. Students must have bowled in a sanctioned USBC league for three out of four years in high school and 75% of the league schedule. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and an SAT/ACT score of 950/20 or higher.
Gulf Coast Hurricane Scholarship
Residents of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, or Texas who are attending a postsecondary institution in one of the eligible states are eligible for this award. Students must have a demonstrated or expressed interest in the plastics industry.
Athens State University Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship
This undergraduate award is for U.S. students who reside in Alabama and are current members of Phi Theta Kappa. The student must a have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, as well as a minimum of 36 transfer credit hours, and plan to enroll in Athens State University in Alabama immediately after completing coursework at the two-year college level.
Airgas – Terry Jarvis Memorial Scholarship
This award is available for U.S. and Canadian undergraduate students who are 18 years of age or older. Students, attending school or living in Alabama, Georgia or Florida, pursuing careers in welding engineering or welding engineering technology. An overall minimum GPA of 2.8 or a minimum GPA of 3.0 in all engineering courses is required.
Horatio Alger Alabama Scholarship Program
This award is for high school seniors with a grade point average of 2.0 or higher who demonstrate critical financial need and are residents of Alabama.
Alabama Past Presidents’ Memorial Endowment Scholarship

Linda Moore Endowment Scholarship
This award is available to U.S. and international undergraduate and graduate students who are reside in an eligible Southern state. Applicants must major in nursing and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Alabama Board of Nursing Scholarship Program
This scholarship is available for Alabama graduate students who have been admitted to a graduate program seeking a master’s or doctorate degree in nursing or nurse anesthesia in an accredited school of nursing in Alabama OR who plan to teach nursing in an Alabama college or university. Students must hold a baccalaureate degree in nursing and have an unencumbered Alabama registered nurse license.
Alabama Scholarship for Dependents of Blind Parents
This award is for available to Alabama students who are from families in which the head of the family is blind and whose family income is insufficient to provide educational benefits for attendance at an Alabama postsecondary institution. Students must apply within two years of high school graduation.
