Lawrence G. Foster Award for Excellence in Public Relations
This award is available for undergraduate students who are members of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). Students must plan to have a career in public relations.
Betsy Plank/PRSSA Scholarship
Current college students who will be juniors or seniors in the fall term and are members of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) are eligible for this award. Students must be enrolled in a public relations program and plan to have a career in public relations.
Mary Moy Quan Ing Memorial Scholarship
This award is available for U.S. and international high school seniors who are pursuing a career in journalism. Students must have a sensitivity to Asian American and Pacific Islander issues.
Washington American Indian Endowed Scholarship
This award is available to Washington undergraduate and graduate students who are currently attending or planning to attend a postsecondary institution in Washington. The student must have close cultural and social ties to an American Indian community in Washington.
GPEF Scholarship
This award is available for U.S. undergraduate students who are residents of Georgia and plan to attend a college/university in the state of Georgia. Students must also be majoring in journalism.
John Bayliss Radio Scholarship
The John Bayliss Radio Scholarship is offered to juniors, seniors and graduate level students majoring in broadcast communications who have maintained a 3.0 GPA or better.
Charles L. Hebner Memorial Scholarship
This award is available for current high school seniors who are U.S. citizens and residents of Delaware. Applicant must plan to enroll full time at the University of Delaware or Delaware State University and plan to major in the humanities or social sciences.
Christophers Video Contest for College Students
Undergraduate and graduate students may enter this video contest. The student must make a short video of five minutes or less interpreting the theme “One Person Can Make a Difference”.
NAHJ General Scholarship – Ruben Salazar Fund
This award is available for U.S. high school seniors or older students who are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate course of study. Students must be pursuing a career in English- or Spanish-language print, photo, broadcast or online journalism, be Hispanic, and have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
