A TEACH grant awards $4,000 per year to students studying in an eligible program. Students must also agree to teach in a high-need field as a certified teacher. They must commit to teach in this field for at least four years. There is also required counseling to complete before receiving a TEACH Grant.

The Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grant is a federal grant. It is for those whose parent or guardian died as a result of military service in Iraq or Afghanistan post 9/11.
