For the price, it was a very great college to attend. The professors cared a lot and really wanted you to succeed. I graduated with my Associates and am very glad that I attended Cisco College. I have made friends and learned more than I ever thought I would. I am very grateful that I had the opportunity to get the education I did for the price that I did.

Leandra - 08/19/2019

I believe Cisco College is a school that can be financially available for many students. It’s not too expensive for the average family and they still provide an education that it well worth it. The classes are smaller than the typical university so it allows students to have more one on one time with the professors. This is extremely helpful when it comes to big tests and deadlines. The staff is friendly and always make one feel welcome. I would encourage other students to make Cisco College their choice because the environment is amazing and students will get the education they deserve at an affordable price.

Cisco college is amazing they have great opportunities to learn and feel apart of the team. The teachers are very in tun with the students with very small class sizes. They take the time to make sure everyone is on the same page, truly no student is left behind. Being a online and on campus student i can vouch for both the learning is the same and overall great. The staff is very attentive. I'm glad to call Cisco my college. Go Wranglers!

Very efficient campus to attend, staff and teachers direct you in the path you want to follow. Help is almost all the time there for you. Great teachers.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

If I could go back and and give my high school self advice it would definitely be to not give up on college. Even though your parents were not able to help you out, there are other options out there. Please submit your FAFSA and when it doesn't pay for all of your classes, request a loan package from the school. It may seem easier and more convenient to put off school, especially after getting your first full time position a month after graduating, but it will only cause you strife in your life. Today, I am 32 years old and not even half way to completing my Bachelor degree. I work full time, am married, we watch our nephew several days a week and take at least nine credit hours a semester. This does not leave much time for studying, so you will find yourself up at all hours and home on weekends when you could be spending time with family and friends. Please, take care of yourself before trying to take care of everyone else.

  3. What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

I wish I had known not to buy my books. I was a first time student and follwed everything anyone told me to a T. This however, meant that I bought all my books, including books my friend in the same class bought. Now that I am in my second semester, I know I have no need for all those books, I just wsh I had nkown that before I bought them.

  4. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

I believe that the worst thing about my school is that I am going after my full time job and there are several classes that I cannot get online, so I end up not getting home until 10 on a couple of nights a week and have to get up and go to work the next day.

  8. Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!

The unique thing about Cisco College is that it was easy to get into and because the school is so small it is easy for students and teachers to have a closer relationship. This means that students are more apt to be motivated by teachers and inspired to graduate on time in order to continue on to a four-year college and successfully obtain an associates, or even knock out credits for a bachelors at a cheaper cost. Cisco is a small school, but this makes it feel like a home away from home. The students and staff are friendly.

  11. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

The only irritating thing about cisco is the desks that we have in some of our classrooms. These desks are designed for someone smaller than an elementary student and are ATLEAST 20 years old. It's painful to sit in these things for 1+ hours 2-4 times a day.
