Scholarships for black men typically are based on financial need and academic excellence. Many Historically Black Colleges and Universities or HBCUs provide college scholarships. Also Black men may qualify for other merit and need based awards at an accredited college in the United States. As an applicant, you might need a minimum GPA and plan on full time enrollment.
