Additional Information: TheDream.US Opportunity Scholarships are for DREAMers1 who live in states where they effectively have no access to college – either because they face paying out-of-state tuition or because their state will simply not admit them into its universities. We call these “locked-out states.” TheDream.US Scholarship Program awards scholarships to Dreamers who have DACA or TPS status and who have demonstrated significant unmet financial need and the determination to succeed in college and in life. Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of significant financial need, academic promise, and determination to succeed. These scholarships are intended for students who do not have the resources to finance their education without substantial financial support. Applicants must also apply for all other forms of financial aid for which they may be eligible. Recipients will be notified in April. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply in future scholarship rounds if they meet eligibility requirements.

Award Amount: Up to $20,000 per year.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $80,000.
