Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards provided annually varies depending on the amount of available funding.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a resident of Indiana.
  2. Must be an undergraduate student at the time of application.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  4. Must identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or a straight ally dedicated to LGBT causes.
  5. This award is for U.S. students.

Additional Information: This merit-based scholarship has been established as a way for Indy Pride, Inc. to reward future and current students attending an accredited Indiana-based university or college who are making significant contributions to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, Questioning, and Straight Ally (LGBTQS) community through their academic pursuits. The scholarship also provides for those who identify as members of the LGBTQS community who have demonstrated a lack of support to attend an institute of higher education.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable. Previous recipients may apply again after waiting at least one year from the receipt of the first award.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
