Number of Awards & Eligibility: Four awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a high school senior.
  4. Must reside in Archer, Florida, and graduate from Newberry High School.
  5. Must plan to attend Santa Fe College.
  6. Must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher.
  7. Must plan to enroll in 12 or more credit hours.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors who reside in Archer, Florida, and will graduate from Newberry High School. Students must plan to attend Santa Fe College, and must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher.

Application requirements for the Santa Fe College Dr. Lamar E. Crevasse Scholarship are:

  • Essay

  • Official Transcript
Additional Information: Students may apply for a maximum of three scholarships as long as they meet the established criteria. Students can receive only one scholarship award per academic year. Scholarships are applied to the academic year awarded. Scholarships are non-transferable. A thank-you note to the scholarship donor must be received before the award is posted to the student's account.

Award Amount: $1,600 annually, renewable for one additional year if the recipient maintains a grade point average of 2.0 or higher. The scholarship is awarded in equal installments for fall and spring terms.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $6,400.

Scholarship information is available on the Santa Fe College (SFC) website by clicking on the "Scholarships" link. Students must apply online via the STARS application system. Please note: To complete the application process, the student must provide his/her SFC ID number. An ID number is generated by submitting the SFC admissions application. Admissions information is available online at www.sfcollege.edu/admissions/. As part of the application, the student must submit a 100-word essay describing career goals and the benefits of receiving the scholarship. In addition to the application, the student must submit his/her official high school transcript to SFC Office for Development at the address provided if he/she does not have a college grade point average. Applications must be submitted by the deadline date.
