This scholarship is available for U.S. high school seniors in Maine who plan to attend the University of Maine at Orono. Students must, at a minimum, be in the top 40 percent of their class and have an SAT score of 1100 or higher; however, most recipients for this scholarship are in the top 10 percent of their class.
This scholarship is available for Maine 4-H members who are active in 4-H activities. Students must be graduating high school seniors or have previously graduated from high school but delayed going to college for no more than one year.
This award is for full-time graduate and undergraduate students involved in the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) or of Greek heritage. Applicants must major in engineering, medical studies, or nursing and must be a resident of Virginia, Maryland, Connecticut, Deleware, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, or Washington, D.C..
This scholarship is available for Maine undergraduate and graduate students who have completed at least one year of a community college program or two years at a four-year college or university. Applications will be selected on the basis of academic achievement and unmet financial need.
U.S. high school seniors who have been involved with Becca’s Closet are eligible to apply for this award. Students must enroll full time and have an unweighted grade point average of 2.0 or higher.
This scholarship is available for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who are associates and/or children of an associate working in one of the three Bud’s Shop ‘N Save supermarkets in Pittsfield, Newport or Dexter, Maine.
This scholarship is offered to Korean-American undergraduate or graduate students who are attending college in the northeastern region of the U.S. as defined by the Korean American Scholarship Fund. The following states are eligible: Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
This scholarship is available for high school seniors who are residents of and attend high school in Maine, and plan to attend the University of Maine at Orono. Students must be in the top 10 percent of their class and have an SAT score of 1450 or higher or an ACT score of 32 or higher to be considered for the award, but selection is extremely competitive and recipients tend to be in the top 2% of their high school class.
This award is available for U.S. and international undergraduate or graduate students who have a current or permanent address that is located in one of the following states or plan to move to one of these states prior to March 1 of the year in which the application is made: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Virginia, West Virginia, or North Carolina.
