We celebrate Do Something Nice Day every year on October 5th. Being nice doesn’t always come naturally. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in our own lives that we forget to treat others with courtesy and respect. Other times, we might be dealing with our own problems and feeling too overwhelmed to focus on anyone else. However, it’s important to remember that even the smallest act of kindness can make a big difference in someone else’s life. That’s why national “Do Something Nice Day” is a great reminder to take a step back and focus on the people around us.
It doesn’t have to be anything big or expensive – just a simple gesture to let someone know that you’re thinking of them. Whether it’s holding the door open for a stranger, paying for the coffee of the person behind you in line, or simply sending a nice text message to a friend, taking the time to do something nice can brighten someone’s day and make the world a little bit better place. So go out and spread some kindness today!
