This school was the right size for me, had a beautiful surrounding environment, and a good Nursing program.

I choose Winona State University because I wanted to go farther away from home. I am 4 hours away from home, which is the perfect distance; I can go home if I want, but I'm not tempted to go home every weekend. Another reason I choose this University is because it had a very good Athletic Training program. Coming out of high school i thought that i wanted to be an Athletic Trainer, but after taking the Intro to Athletic Training class I found out that it just wasn't for me. I an fortunate that Winona had a variety of Health majors that interested me so I didn't have to transfer to major in the field I wanted.

Winona State has one of the best education programs in the midwest. They begin you immediately with experience and classes that pertain to your major. I also decided to attend WSU because of the size of the campus. It is small enough that getting to class is easy, especially in winter. The campus has everything to offer, including good food and places to study and hang out.

The size of Winona State was what helped me with my final decision. I also really liked how well the nursing school here is portrayed. It is one of the best in the State. Another reason why I went to Winona State was because the size of the campus was just right for me. Another reason why I went here was because when I toured it, every one was so nice and friendly and I really liked the atmosphere.
