The "connections" component of coursework can be frustrating to fulfill.

There wasnt much I wasnt perpared for when coming to this school because Wheaton has a program in which you visit in July and intereact with fellow students as an introduction to campus so you are prepared the moment you arrive in August.

I wish I'd had the maturity to see and value my education. I wish I had had a clearer sense of who I was and what direction I wanted to go in. This was the first time I was ever away from home, and I wish that I had taken college a lot more seriously than I did.

Come into this school with an open mind. Try to meet people from different areas of the country and world because they are here - you just have to find them! There are so many opportunities on this campus but you have to seek them out.

I wish I had known how much the efforts to attract new students affected the current students by havingtheir needs often overlooked.

I wish I had known more about the financial aid packaging process, as I chose the more expensive school over a less expensive school on account of academic merit and distance from home. Knowing in advance how much money I would be awarded and how much I would still need to pay would have been quite useful.
