The most frustrating thing about Washtenaw Community College is some of the professors are very smart and know a lot about the subject they are teaching, but they aren't the best teachers so they can't communicate the knowledge they have to us. The professors don't need a teaching degree to teach classes, which can sometimes be frustrating to me and many other students.

Sometimes, it is difficulting to know if you're making the right decisions. I think that having more counselors, who are available more often and are always very open to each individual situation would have helped me understand every decision I made. Going a community college means that you plan to transfer soon, and transferring can be very confusing. Every school has different guidelines, transfer evaluations, degree requirements and application processes. As a student on your own, this can seem overwhelming, making a counselor or academic advisor's job that much more important.

There is nothing frustrating about the school I attend.

The most frustrating thing about Washtenaw Community College is the parking. They have had such an increase is students recently that parking is a mess. They are doing things to help, such as having parking at an alternate location and having a shuttle to transport students and staff to the campus.

There are times as an older student I feel like I'm in a high school because of the lack of discipline and respect that some of the high school students display. I understand that I was once 17-ish and probably a little on the noisey side but generationally I think we have more respect for others and their space.

The most frustrating aspect about my school is parking. We have a terrible parking problem because enrollment has so drastically increased. It's important to always get to school early to ensure you get a decent spot.

The most frustrating thing about my school, is taking tests. You are only allowed to take them at certain times and days during the week, and most of the time it interfers with my scedule. I think it would be easier to take the tests in class.
