UW is too large and they are just stuck up. Pullman is a very small town but when you factor in Washington State University (WSU) there are a lot of people. UW is just too large and too close to home. And CWU just does not have the name the WSU has.

Washington State University is like a private school when it comes to size, but with the cost of state school minus the room and board cost.

WSU has a Vancouver campas so I can get a university education without moving to Pullman or leaving the town I was raised. It is very beautiful campus with a diverse faculty who have expertise in their field.

The students are extremely spirited and lively. The Washington State Cougars have a very distinct pride in their school. It really makes being a student here fun, exciting, and rewarding. The atmosphere is excellent.

Being in the middle of nowhere in Eastern Washington it's a pretty isolated school, which creates a very loyal bunch of students who are willing to make the trek out here.

Pullman is unique because although it is in such a remote location, the memories you will make here last you a lifetime. Maybe I'm biased because I have so much joy in my heart for this place I can call my school, but once you come here, I don't think anyone could see themselves going anywhere else. You can't understand Pullman until you experience it first hand.

The school spirit and sense of community is incredible. Cougs around the country are always ready and willing to help one another. Just being a WSU graduate opens up doors to all sorts of jobs and opportunities. Students and alumni are truly proud of their school.

There is a very strong sense of school pride here. Another unique characteristic is that the univsersity is located in a small town and the sense of community here is amazing, not only in the community but on campus as well. The people here are great and with not a whole lot to do in Pullman most of my time was spent getting to know people. Through this, I have made lifelong friends and makes Pullman very unique.

It has a fantastic veterinary college. As an undergraduate you can participate in internships and research.

Washington State University is most definitely a college town making you feel very comfortable in your environment. It is a great befit to live in a college town because during finals the whole town is dead and studying then picks up again; the environment and social events are all planned around students. The school pride is outstanding making you feel very connected and a part of something in this big school. I love being located in the middle of know where, because most anyone who goes to the school lives there, giving you the opportunity to make very strong friendships.
