There are a dozen major races and ethnicities at VCU with cultural and religious backgrounds living side by side. The cultural and racial diversity at VCU allows for a more open minded and more educated community of individuals. The mix of students creates a type of unity that cannot be found at any other school. Our differences educate students on the current world around them and our commonalities are what brings us together as friends.
