University of St Thomas-Saint Paul Top Questions

What's unique about your campus?

Ian

If I was a religious person I would say the church was the best part. If I was a business major I would say the business school was the best part. If I played a sport recognized by the school I would say athletics were the best part. Unfortunately, I do none of those things. I am an education major, I don't want to grow up to be rich and powerful, I play a sport that the school refuses to fund (rugby), and it is because of the religion on campus that makes me embarassed to attend St. Thomas.

The best thing would be the professors and their undeniable dedication to their subjects and fields of study.

There are many great things about my school. The professors seem to love their jobs and I learn a lot every day. The resources for students here are insanely great and definitely what makes this school stand out from the rest. Also, the campus is beautiful and there is always something going on.

I think the campus in general. The buildings are goregous and provide an environment where you feel proud to attend class each day. I also think the opportunities made available by the university for work during and after school.

The best thing about this school is the people and the professors. You will find people here who are just like you and are amazing! The professors really make the college experience though. They are completely dedicated to the students and are invaluable in helping find jobs/interships/advice/networking etc. St. Thomas is great becuase people are passionate, ambitious and ready to be successful.

The alumni job system. Alumni provide a good network for Tommies to get jobs after graduation.

The Justice and Peace Studies faculty. They all offer a wealth of experience in the field and they're a delight to learn from and work with.
