University of St Thomas-Saint Paul Top Questions

Any type of person can attend St.Thomas. We area very versatile and open to all sorts of students. We have students from over 25 countries and we are a liberal school. A student who wants to get involved is a perfect type. We have over 100 clubs to get involved with. For example, I am on the Green Team, Eastern European Club, and Global Minded Student Assosiation as well as being a Tommie Ambassador!

A person interested in attending a smaller school that is catholic while still retaining the experience of being in a big city. A person interested in building closer relationships but still looking for some aninimoity; a person that is looking for a college that is concerned about student saftey.

A person that is willing to learn and meet new people. People here tend to be outgoing andlooking for fun. A person coming here should not try to hide from other people

A person should attend this school if they have an interest in receiving a solid liberal arts education. The campus also has a seminary program, Saint John Vianney College Seminary, which is the largest college seminary in the country. For those discerning the priesthood, there is no better place to be. In general, the campus is small, but not too small. The area is beautiful and very homey and while being located within the twin cities. A great school for a the all around college experience.

People who seek to reach their highest potential in a community-based learning environment should come to this school. People who are seeking small class sizes, professors who are always available to help you and respond relatively quickly to emails and questions, as well as people who are seeking a campus filled with social activities (and perhaps opportunities for free food!) would enjoy this university very much. Also, students who are seeking a university in an area close to the city but not necessarily in the city would enjoy this school as well.

Someone that wants to fit in and be like mean girls at the college level. The academics are great, but most of the people are stuck up snobs. It depends what you want. If you want to see girls wearing heels to class everyday and people rarely wear sweatpants, so if that is you this is your school.

Students who really want to learn and get into good professions.

Someone who is going to attend this school should be well prepared for challenge and academic competition. A person who is environmentally conscious would also fit into this campus very well.

The kind of person that should attend this school is an out going , intellectual student. Some one who is committed to doing well in school. The person should expect a significant amount of homework. Pretty much any student can attend this school if they work hard to accomplish their goals.
