University of St Francis Top Questions

What's the most frustrating thing about University of St Francis?

Katelyn

Eventhough, I have not actually had a class yet at St. Francis, I feel the price of a private school would be the most frustrating thing. I am really looking forward to a quality education in an excellent nursing program. The fact that it is so expensive made me think, rethink, and think again about my decision. I know I will walk away with an awesome education and also awesome debt, long with my parents. My family is very blue collar, but also very supportive, willing to dive into debt for me and my brother.

The most frustrating thing about the University is its small size. While it does have benfits it limits choices. I had no class choices or class time choices. Going to a small school doesnt offer much variety. I see all the same people in all of my classes. There is also not much to do in the surrounding areas. Many of the students live off campus and commute to school so there is not much to do on the weekends. Social the school doesnt have much to offer. It is almost like a highschool.

The most frusttrating thing about the St. Francis campus is parking. Because it is a resident and commuter school, it is hard to accomodate all the students during the school year because it is a smaller campus.

That the academic advisors sometimes steer you in the wrong direction when it comes to difficult courses, deciding what courses to take, and when a problem arises with a particular teacher. Also, that the tuition is very expensive and I don't believe that the school offers enough financial aid or scholarships to compensate.
