University of Southern Mississippi Top Questions

I love the school that i am attending.

The location. USM is a more liberal school located in an area where the preferred ideals to follow are conservative. However, I'm glad such a college exists near my home.

Parking on campus is awful but they are building a parking garage!

Parking is somewhat a problem due to the continuing growth of our great University.

Having to buy a meal plan is one of the worst things that I can think of. It costs a good bit of money and I really do not like the food.

To be honest there really isn't a worse thing about Southern Miss

There is nothing I can say is bad about my school. It's not a huge campus, is a quaint campus and majority of the time everyone gets along with each other.

It's hard to say anything unfavorable about a school you love. I guess the student professor communications will have to be it for me. The hardest part for me was going from high school where you talk to your teachers to college where you do a lot of e-mailing with your professors.

The lack of school-funded transportation. My dorm is several blocks off campus; I have to bike to class every morning. And don't even get me started on how long it takes to walk to the cafeteria.

Parking. There is a need for more.
