General Education ones are a bit boring but they are requirements so I make the best of them. My major ones are great even have fun doing all night-ers to review information I will use in the future.

Most of my classes have around 60 people, and I do have a lot of labs. The professors are so personable and make the classes so interesting that i actually want to go to class

The work is a little hard, but you usually end up knowing the material by the end of the class.

A lot of people think that classes here at USC are really big. Yes, they are big, but I can honestly say I feel as though I'm in a small environment because my teacher always recognize my face when they see it. As you go deeper into your major your class size gets smaller. As a freshman it is important to make the professor know who you are. You can be sitting in a small classroom and the professor still won't know who you are if you do not open your mouth or make an attempt to talk to them.

My classes are a reasonable size. My general classes are normally a lot larger, typically lecture style. However, I still manage to get to know my teachers well enough to ask them for help when I need it. I suggest every college student do that. My major classes are much smaller spanning from twenty kids to thirty at most. My classes as an education major are mostly conversational, and require a large amount of reading, research, and paper writing. I also have practicums for a lot of my classes which allow me to observe in schools before I am actually allowed to teach.

Classes at USC, can be anywhere from huge to small. My favorite class I have ever had during my time here at USC was a spanish class. The class required a lot of studying and was very hard but it only contained 12 people. Everybody in the class knew each others name, we studied together and we were like best friends. This has been reoccurring now that I am out of general education classes and into more of my major concentrated classes. The higher up you go in your major the small the classes are and the more you get to know people that you will be with until graduation.

my classes average 20-40 students and can very from lecture to conversational

Classes really vary a lot here. Because the university is so big, many classes are large lectures of 100-300, especially for your general education requirements taken freshman and sophomore years. Upper level classes and some gen ed classes can have as few as 20 students. Honors college classes generally do not have more than 20 students in them.
The best classes are those when the professors are really passionate about the subjects they're teaching. Even in subjects that I didn't think would interest me, I really enjoyed the classes when the professors loved their topic. The ratemyprofessor.com website is helpful for determining which professors are passionate about their courses.

Classes vary. Your freshman and sophomore year, depending on the number of credits you enter USC with, you will most likely be finishing up your general education courses. These courses tend to have anywhere from 100-300 students in them. This scared me when I first heard this, but these classes have teacher aids and each teacher has office hours easily accessible to students. No teacher has been unwilling to help students. Once you hit spring of yoru sophomore year, you begin getting into courses specified for your major. These classes range from 10-40 students, with teachers passionate about the industry/field of study and students who are willing to work hard. Classes offer real-life exprience and help prepare you for the future.
