University of South Carolina-Aiken Top Questions

To me, my school is best known for its small class sizes and more one on one learning styles of teaching. It has only about twenty or so students in each class and that is what brought me to this college. You get to know your professors on a personal level and they will know you by your name rather than by a number like in some of the larger colleges and universities.

I don't know too much about the tradition of my school, it's relatively young. Most of the students I talk to claim that the cheapness of the school was their main attaction. Alot of students attend USC Aiken for one or two years with the entention to transfer to a larger school. They use USC Aiken to build their GPA and to get use to the college life with out having to be at a major university.

The best thing about USC Aiken is teh personal touch that all of the proffessors have with their classes. This really makes you feel like you are one of their own children. The proffessors do not ever have a bad additude unless you tell them that they want you too fail. Then, all hell breaks loose. These proffessors want ever student to pass with flying colors.

I'm afraid that my school is not very well known. It is a small campus, in the middle of a small town. We have no major sports teams, or anything of that sort. I think what most current and former students would pass on the knowledge that USCA is full of friendly people, or as some say full of Southern hospitality. That is probably what we would be known for. There's always someone willing to help out, and friends are easy to make. We may not have a reputation nationally, but around here I think we are respected.

My school is best known for their dedication and determination. My school works hard to make the students develop career oriented skills before we graduate school and enter the real word. The challenge our inner strength and they bring out the success in us.

We are best known for our basketball team. We are also ranked first among the top public baccalauerate schools in the South.
