People who are looking for a big school experience shouldn't look here. If you're lazy, you can get by here, but the people who enjoy their time here the most are the ones who throw themselves into everything they can on campus.

People should not attend this school if they are looking for a racially diverse campus or if they do not have a decent amount of money.

A person not willing to go to class everyday and do the work given. The professors know you by name here. If you do not show up to class then they know exacly who you are. Also, if someones idea of college is to party and drink all the time, this is not the school to go to. Class and school work is taken seriously here, which is good. If you can't keep up or do not want to, this is not the place to go.

Some one might not want to attend this school if they are looking for a fraternity/sorority experience. There are no Greek houses on or off campus. Also it is a dry campus, so partying is kept at a minimum. Also if a student is looking for intense research experience this may not be the correct school for you.

Someone who likes to just be another face in the crowd should not attend this school. One of the strongest points about this school is the fact that the class sizes are so small. Each student has the opportunity to speak one-on-one with the professors. It is a very personable atmosphere which encourages the students to work together to get the most from the classes.

If you are lazy and don't like to be challenged, then you shouldn't go here. USD is a challenging place that helps you grow not only academically, but spiritually, emotionally, and socially. If your the type of person who doesn't like change then this is not the place for you. USD is a fantastic place to continue your education.
