Before attending University of Phoenix, I wish I had known how quickly a person can become enrolled and begin their classes. I called the University to speak to a counselor regarding my career-choice options and educational goals, before I knew it, I was applying for financial aid and registering for an online orientation class. Three weeks later I found myself beginning my first set of classes. All of this happened before I could reallize that the financial details had not been set. I wish I would have researched different school options as well as schoalarships ahead of time.

Something that I wish I would have known was that going back to school at University of Phoenix is a very helpful school. With all of the professors, as well as advisors are there for you anytime that you need them. The OLS is very easy to nagivate and get the hang of. As going to college online is a challenge, but with Univeisty of Phoenix they help you with time management and making school into a habit.

I wish I had been better prepared to study as hard as is expected of me and wish I had known the teachers were so willing to help even before the classes start.
Angela
I wish that I had known how hard the classes would be.

I wish that I had known how easy it was to go to school online. If I had known how easy it would be, I would have started school years ago instead of waiting as long as I did.

I was pretty prepared on what to expect out of college. Being a single mother with a full time job seems hard, but having a school like University of Phoenix makes it very easy to manage your time. There is nothing I wish I would have known before going to this school, because I was well prepared aws to what I was about to embark upon.

That I would have to do a lot of the learning on my own.

Before I came to this school, I didn't know exactly how the policy goes with making payments. So when I first signed up and found out that I had to pay for my classes up front almost 2 weeks after I started, it did put me in a little rut. But, I was still able to pull it together and pay it off well. It is important that you ask your student advisor these kinds of questions before you decide on what school to come from. Other than that, I really love this school.
