What kind of person should not attend University of North Texas?

Tim

Basically any person that is the way I am should not attend this school. There is a reason that the unfortunate events in the past happened at public schools [VA tech, etc]. Anyone who assumes they should be treated with a basic level of dignity and respect should not go here because they will find they are being treated like pigs in a cage.

The school is fairly versatile, but fundamentalist Christian conservatives could eaisly feel out of place. Also, people dedicated to composing tonal music will probably find qualms with the composition department in the College of Music, as it focuses on the more modern schools of composing, which are atonal.

I wouldn't recommend this school to students who are unsure as to whether or not school is right for them; while UNT has a decent cost for a public univeristy, it is still not the least expensive. Generally speaking, I don't recommend larger universities for those financially restricted; community colleges are much more easily accessable for associates degrees which UNT wililngly accepts (for which I greatly appreciate). I'm glad I waited to go to UNT.

The type of people that should not attend this school are those that are not environmentally friendly because North Texas takes great pride in staying green and being as environmentally friendly as possible.

Jamal

Conservatives.
