Why did you decide to go to University of North Carolina at Greensboro?

Taurean

I am a Charlotte native and so I am able to get away from home without going too far and it is centralized in the state so its easy to travel. UNCG also has a good business program behind UNC Chapel hill. UNCG is also a very diverse campus and offered a great study abroad program that I am currently doing in Lyon, France.

UNCG was actually not my first choice. Don't get me wrong the website was very helpful and showed tremendous information that attracted me to the school, but the moment I stepped on campus and saw how beautiful it was and how it felt like my second home. I knew this was where I wanted to be for the next 4 years maybe even 6!

UNCG has a great reputation for the major I am in, which is Nutrition. It is also centrally located in the state, meaning its 3 hours away from the beach (Wilmington), 3 hours away from the mountains (Asheville) and only between hour to an hour and a half away from Charlotte and Raleigh. I love that it is located in the triad, so lots of other college towns are near by. I also find the campus to be amazing and beautiful.

I wanted to experience life away from what I am used to. I grew up in Asheville, NC, and thought Greensboro would be a nice getaway.
