University of New Hampshire-Main Campus Top Questions

As a member of the Greek System here at UNH, many stereotypes are made against houses on campus. For instance, I've heard some people say that Greeks only care about partying and drinking. Secondly, the Greek community has been stereotyped that members don't care, nor concentrate on academics and career development.

That UNH is all farms and hicks from small towns.

That the kids here are hicks. That the greek life is just for partying and that they are not smart or well educated.

Party School & not a diverse student body

I honestly don't think I have ever heard any. I applied to this school with no preconceived notion of what it was like and without seeing the campus.

Many people think that people at our university are all stoners and hippies. There seems to be an aura of laziness associated with UNH students and the idea that all we do is sit around and smoke weed all day.
