Parking can be hectic, campus is not safe at night

I wish I had known the true value of an undergraduate education. I would have taken any and all oppuntunities for career advancement. I wish I would have made serious connections in my field to use at a later date as well as taking full advantage of all the resources the university provides.

To not take more than 12 credits, overloading is a terrible idea, specially if you have no idea about the course or of its difficulty!

There is nothing I didn't really know before attending. They had multiple councelors to help and many college visit days to get the lay out of the campus. If you are not affaid to use the resorses provided then you will feel the same.

I wish I had been aware of how many hours I had for my classes. Even though they are good, I just wish I knew so I knew what I was going into and be better prepared.

College isn't easy and you have to do a lot of preparation.

I wish I would have known what campus life was like. I like to be involed, and I wish I would have known how to get involved, and in what ways i could become involved.

I do not start until January, so I have not actually attended class yet. However, I wish I knew about Urban Planning & Design (my intended major) a lot sooner in my college experience. I feel so great knowing I have finally found a major that correlates so well with my interests and different aspects of my personality. I am really excited I found UMKC's program because it is one of the few BA programs for Urban Planning and it is also studio based. I cannot wait to get started!

I would have loved to find my apartment before I went to college so I wouldn't have to live in the dorms.
