If your goin to send your children to UMass Lowell, please encourage them to get into Greek life, there is where the other greek members will help your child get through school. wayy better then a tutor because they act BETTER then tutors when you need it and they will tell you when you can go drink. after you get some work done. I would tell these parents and students to chose a college that best fits their personality. What I mean by this is choose a college based on your preferences for the size of the campus, size of the classes, and size of the social groups. Also I would advise that the college you choose should contain people that you will get along with and that will support you in whatever you are going to do. Also I would advise a college with a lot of quiet study places and many studying opportunities such as tutors, study groups, etc.
