Mostly I tell my friends about the great community, not only on Campus but off it as well. The people of Farmington are all very kind and on more than one occassion I've gotten friendly "hello"s from complete strangers. I have some really great friends and I attribute this to the Campus Community.

I brag about the class size. It is small enough to get the attention you need from the professor but large enough to meet new people and students at your school.

Caroline

The professors. They are so welcoming and very easy to talk to. If you have a question or problem, they want to answer or fix it. They are also very accomidating and are willing to work with you.

Kathleen

How it sometimes doesn't feel like a campus. Sometimes I feel like I am more part of the town than just a campus.

Ashley

I brag about location. For me, Farmington is in the best location. We are in a small community, yet there's still SO much going on around us. We have such gorgeous seasons; the turning leaves and the snowfall are my favorite times of year. At UMF we beavers live in such a balanced place, you get the best of both worlds. I wouldn't want it any other way.

Jessica

The fact that you don't get lost in the crowd. UMaine Farmington is the perfect size. There is plenty of one-on-one time with your professors and all teachers always know your name. You are never just a student in a seat. The scenary is also a great part of the campus. It's not city life but you still have the things you need to get through.
