The University of Louisville is best known for its commitment to diversity and the acceleration of student learning.

Our school is best known for our athletics, especially our basketball. We are nationally ranked and get a lot of support from people nationwide, not just in Kentucky. We are also one of the largest in-state schools in Kentucky. We have a great medical program.

Sports and Art

I attend the University of Louisville J.B. Speed School of Engineering, which is most well known for it's academic enrichment and challenging couse load. As a Bioengineering major, I will be exposed in a varity of course work including engineering calulus, chemistry, physics, biology, anatomy and much more. Not only will I have classroom exposure, but I will also have the opportunity to co-op outside of school. The coupling of education and hands on experience creates an overall exceptional learning experience that is second to none. Overall, my school is known for challenging, yet outstanding academic enrichment.

And the boys basketball team has been popular for years while it has been headed by Rick Pittino. The University of School has made numerous medical advances in the areas of cardiac care and cancer. We have a new research center where they are coming up with new medical technologies to help with all kinds of diseases and medical conditions.
