What's the most frustrating thing about University of Kentucky?

The lack of student aid given. Like, jeez out-of-state is not pretty. If you're in-state, no problem. Tuition is definitely covered. But $22,000 out-of-state is a pain in the arse.

The most frustrating thing about my school would have to be the parking situation for students living on campus. My school has designated areas on campus for students on campus, commuters, and for the employees. However, unless you live in a certain dormitory, you will most likely be parking at the football stadium, located on the complete southern point of campus, which could become a thirty minute walk for some students.

This school is expensive, and it is expensive because it is more of a business than a school. The university of Kentucky will accept your application because they want your money, not because they want you or anyone to succeed. The only success i feel that this University cares about is their own financial success. Apart from that, The Greek life on campus is borderline out of control. Saturday nights are wild and sunday mornings are filled with streets lined with alcohol containers. These students are paying for a social life and to fatten the wallets of the higher ups.

There were too many graduate assistants teaching the undergraduates.

The most frustrating thing about my school is not all of the professors at Uk are very approachable. Most of them say the would love to help out a student, but when you approach them, they're cold and sometimes bluntly rude.

The most frustrating thing in college is trying to find alternatives to alcohol that other kids can get involved in. As a guy I think it’s hard to find something that is “cool” to do that could get others involved that that can get them away from the dangers of drinking especially all the underage college kids. Personally I started Nerf Battles with a lot of the guys who live in dorms and that is something that seems to work, my friends think it’s a lot more fun to shoot someone than to pass out at a party.

The most frustrating thing about the school is their policy on faculty/staff-student relationships. By the book, as long as the paid member is not grading the student, dating is a go. But it is frowned upon morally. I agree with the relationship being a no-go if grades are involved, but I believe that even if grades aren't involved if the faculty/staff memeber screws a student over, they should be held accountable. I also believe that if the paid member and student have a good-standing romantic relationship, then people shouldn't look down at it.

Parking!!!! Parking passes are expensive. Lots are sometimes far away from where you'd like to park and the parking police are relentless! Chances are you will rack up your fair share of tickets here at the University of Kentucky.

The lack of quality teachers. Most teachers seem to have their own agenda, and don't take the time nor the energy to provide the quality education they should, especially in the introductory courses.

I would have to say walking to class in the cold weather. Some of the classes are not very close to where I stay at on campus so having to hike to a class when it is very cold and snowing really stinks and sometimes makes you not want to go but you have to if you want the good grades.
