The athletic facilities tend to recieve more financial attention than the acamdemic classrooms. Many of the classrooms have run down equipment, while the foot ball team has a brand new practice field.

Well coming from a community college I did not have the advantage that first year freshman get. When I first came here last year I felt out of place and I did not know where to go to get the help that I needed. After a while I figured out where I needed to be and realized that I needed to put in the extra work and ask people for help, which is hard for me, to get the advantage that the freshman get. Even an advisor told me that transfers really get lost in the mix of things.

The worst thing about my school that I have found out thus far is the fraternities and sororities. A lot of them get special treatment because usually half the teacher are graduate students that were in either a frat or sorority. It irritates me when I bust my ass working all weekend to pay bills and have a late assignment that does not get credited. But on the other hand, I have personally witnessed "buddies" be able to turn in late homework and still receive full credit!
