The classes and professors are awesome. The choices of classes and programs are incedible. The professors are leaders in their field, and are often well-known writers and respected researchers. Our class discussions are in-depth, thought-provoking and full of great information. They inspire us to think deeper about a topic or to come back the next day to ask more questions.

stephanie

We have a lot of camraderie and school spirit.

The fact that I met my best friends there, the opportunities I sought out with Illini Media (even though they pretty much used me for free labor and gave me little job advice), Murphy's Pub, and the really great music scene and local community. The fact that if you know how to seek out fun and things to learn, U of I is a really great school. It's a big enough place to really strech out and learn how to do things on your own, but not too big where you can get into much trouble.

Julia

The thing I brag most about when I tell my friends about my school would probably have to be how high the acedemic standards are here at the University of Illinois. Being at such a prestigious school makes me proud and I love nothing more than to acknowledge that.

Stephanie

I'm not really sure. It's in the middle of nowhere, but it's a good school.

Andrea

If I were to brag about the University of Illinois, I would say that it is preparing me for the real world in a smaller setting, since your future really is in your own hands here. Help is available, but it must be sought out. I would also say that our sporting events are great to attend, full of energy and spirit of the students and alumni. Being apart of the athletic bands has allowed me to experience this excitement first-hand.

Kayesha

The variety of interesting/engaging courses and how much can be learned. Also, the vast opportunities for social enrichment.
