The campus security system that we have. There have been so many incidents dealing with robbery and assault and students are tired of it. They are slow to respond and don't do much when put in a situation. We need better security guards and more lighting around our school at night. It is dark and dangerous for students who take classes at night. For the amount of money we pay, we deserve to have better protection.

Like any state university, they are not prompt with their help with financial problems. It can get extremely frustrating when you have a loan or a scholarship that isn't getting processed because your school is taking their time with it. Other than that the school is great.

University of Houston is not the type of school that is known for academics as much as it should; this is most frustrating thing about it. I came into this school thinking it would not be as hard as attending a school like, let's say, Baylor. Unfortunately, I was wrong, and because of slacking off, I had to deal with the hard part of having to bring my GPA up again. The education here is great and requires lots of work to keep up with, which very hard if you're lazy but well worth it.

The most fustrating thing about my school is that they do not have a men's soccer team. I would of liked to try out for a soccer team and compete with other schools at national level.
