The classes. Hands down. There are an incredible number of equally great classes to take here. Foreign languages that I had never even heard of are offered on a regular basis included Bengali and Swahili. I could have taken a freshman seminar on how medicine works or exploring the life and writings of Flannery O'Connor. Whether you're interested in going to law or medical school, or becoming a farmer or teacher, UGA offers classes that will set you up for success. The best thing about my school is the size of the student body because it gives me the opportunity to meet lots of people from different places and with different opinions. I enjoy talking to people and learning what they thing about different issues.

The best thing about my school is that most of the professors who teach here are professionals and enjoy the subject they teach. That enthusiasm gets passed down to students, who also get excited about the material. It's easier to learn when you enjoy what you are learning and you are learning from someone who enjoys what they teach.

Athens is a great town - great food and music. The campus is beutiful, lots of trees & greenery & old buildings.

The access to nearly everything a student could want is readily available, from programs to activities to education.

It has a great classics department, which is exactly what I want.

The research opportunities give me a good sense of what my career will be like. It also allows me to make progress along with the professors and stay up to date on the information.
