The University has a long standing tradition as the states most prestigious college. Unfortunately this prestige is heavily based on the research done by the Professors and not their ability to teach undergraduate classes with 300 students.

The University of Florida puts the most emphasis on academics. However, the "Gator Nation" has a great amount of school spirit, as well. Most people are involved in at least one extracurricular activity, such as a Student Organization, or Intramurals.

The University of Florida is fun, big, exciting, and offers many oppertunities.
