If i could go back and give myself advice would be that always try my best, that no matter what don't fall back in education that college is challenging but there is nothing that we can't do if we really try. Also that being a senior is just one step closer to optain your goals , no matter what other people say have clear in your mind that even if other people don't believe that you can go to college; you know that you can do it and ignored them and just go on .

My advice for students and parents looking to make the RIGHT decision for attending a certain college is very important. Finding the right college can make or break a students both educationally and mentally. Look for certain things around campus such as size of classes, student life, equipment provided, and how professors provide eduation for there students. It is these key things to look for because these things will lead to the success of a students college career.

Make sure to take your classes seriously, but most important is to find a balance between your academic life and your personal life. Find time for homework, friends, and exercise. You really have to make sure to take care of yourself the whole way through, by having good friendships, eating right and exercising, and getting your work done on time for peice of mind.

As a sophmore in college, I took the opportunity to become an orientation leader at the University of Detroit Mercy. The main reason for this was because I wanted to inform and pump students up about college life and what to expect. Many students are so stressed out with the applicatoin process of college that they just pick a college without really considering important factors like finances. I spoke to parents and incoming freshman about how important it is to prioritize and create a budget or to do list. Being as though college tuition rises every year, I see so many students trying to take out extra loans to live on campus even though they cannot afford it. I make sure to inform the parents about teaching their child the reality in college expenses and that they must pay loans back. Making the most out of your college experience is important and I advise hundreds of freshman to get involved around campus because no one should be stuck in "study mode" all year. Afterall, participation in events on campus can lead to new friends and relationships with networking that may one day help the students in the long run!

Apply to as many schools as possible. Encourage your child to find an advisor that will guide him/her through their years at college. Help them apply, apply, apply, and keep an eye on scholarship and extra research work. Work in groups, make friends, have fun along the way.

You should definitely visit each college and spend time asking many questions about every aspect of the college and about things that are important to you. Also, while in college make as many friends as possible and enjoy yourself. You only live once.

College education is the most precious gift a parent can give their child and a student can achieve in their lifetime. This is because it is everlasting and a continuous source of provision .

Make sure you understand what the school is asking for in order to acheive academically. Also, make sure that the school is set up to fit your life style and that your advisor's, teachers and couselors understand your lifestyle before you schedule your classes.

I think you need to really investigate your options when it comes to each college. Looking at class size and what each school has to offer you academically and financially. Some private universities are more affordable than you think because the amount of academic money they can give to you. Don't rule out the private colleges just because they say how expensive it is to attend.

Visit the colleges and speak with students and faculty.
