University of Central Florida Top Questions

What I consider the best thing about my school is the many opportunities given. One opportunity that I was blessed with was being able to go through the E.O.P Program that is offered at Central Connecticut State University. Although many people might find this to be a curse because they weren’t officially accepted into CCSU until they finished the program, I was granted with many opportunities such as receiving scholarships & being able to live on campus for five weeks to get a college life perspective from a different point of view.

The best thing about my school is the diversity of students which gives you different outlooks on things. Non traditional students, muslims, activists, handicapped, there are so many different types of people that offer different ideas to clubs and classroom discussions. If everyone was the same and thought the same then there would never be any progress.

The opportunities - If people choose to take advantage of them. I have been involved with 4 different organizations, and have had positions from leader, to director, and I have really gotten to network, and learn about myself from participating in these experiences. There are a lot of opportunities for students to take advantage of. My advice to them would be to simply get out there , find what they love and get involved in it or create a channel for others so they too can get involved.

I think the best thing about my school is how established it is within the community of Orlando. It has deep connections with local businesses such as Disney, Lockheed Martin as well as other big names. That relationship helps students start internships as well as develop a network for opportunities in the future.

The staff working in administration and the financial aid office. I say this because the staff at the University of Central Florida truly get things done in a timely mannner. This gives me a sense of security because I know my information will be handled by responsible individuals who standby their work ethic. This effort inpart by the staff at UCF trickles down to the overall integrity of the school, I really admire that and it allows me as a student to focus and achieve my dreams.

There are numerous ways to get involved. UCF has over 400 clubs and 56,000 students so there's always someone to connect with or a way to get connected. The games, including football and basketball, are almost 100{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of the time free for students. Organizations, such as the student government, put on fun events throughout the year including "Light Up UCF" which is an outdoor skating rink and more. Also, being in the large city of Orlando gives students plenty of places to have fun and hang out. UCF does a good job of balancing fun and education.

It's hard to say, my professors are excellent, well educated and care about their students, while the students themselves are very talented and supportive of each other.

I believe that the best thing about the University Of Central Florida is the diversity. There are so many different races of people here and they are all great people. This is great for our student body because everyone has a chance to learn something different about other cultures which I believe will help us in the job field once we branch out.

The Univeristy of Central Florida reminds me of my high school. I attended Coral Reef Senior High in Miami,Florida. This school was very diversed and eco-friendly. The first time I visited the University of Central Florida, I fell in love. How can a college that is four hours away from my hometown give me a sense of comfort? I love the atmosphere and I am always able to find a peacful area to go study. UCF is home, and that's the the greatest feeling you can have when attending any University.

the best thing about my school is the abundant resources they have for the students that attend. they have writing labs, SARC lab for further tutoring, counseling services for the people who may need it, etc. I believe its already hard to cope with the fact that you will be making the biggest transformation in your life so the fact that they have all these resourses to assist with the transition is great.
