The single worst thing about the University of Central Florida is how easy it is to feel like just another face in the crowd.

No sense of community around campus. Orlando is not a college town and UCF is a small blip on the radar. Traffic around campus is bad and not conducive to alternative forms of transportation.

I study at the Rosen College at UCF and it is like 40 minutes from there to main campus. The cafeteria at Rosen is very poor. They are open only a couple o hours per day. I think I have never seen it open. In the main campus there are a lot of different fast food restaurants. However, there is none at Rosen.

The worst thing about my school would have to be the fact that the school puts so much effort and money into the construction of new buildings, the gym, and parking garages just to name a few. While these buildings are beautiful and are a symbol of the university's progression there are other buildings that seem to be hidden from the tours given to potential students. These hidden buildings are older and in need of renovation and a far cry from the modern representations that the campus has.

The worst thing about my school is that the Financial Aid process can drain you. Also, some professors are able to teach in their profession while others can not, and sometimes you can't learn with their style of teaching.

The University of Central Florida is an overpopulated school. For example, the classrooms are mostly auditoriums exceeding over 200 students. When sitting in a classroom with a cornicopia of students, it makes it harder for each individual to ask a question and recieve an answer from the professor there and then. There is just not enough time during the class hour to answer everyones question.

As of now, parking around campus is a hassle, but they are creating more parking spaces.

There are many students who take classes at the main campus. Parking is pretty bad during the day, but UCF is in the process of building another parking garage.

The worst thing about UCF would probably be the requirement of upper level electives still imposed on transfer students. The college which I transfered from was a state college and labelled their courses different and thus I am having to stay an extra semester because the classes I transfered with don't read as upper level for UCF. I believe that for transfer students a forgiveness of a certain number of upper level courses should be granted otherwise it seemes as though students who transfer end up being penalized for doing so by having to stay longer.

The worst thing about UCF is the availability of student parking but if you live in off campus housing the school provides you with a shuttle to campus from most apartments. So even the worst thing about UCF can still be avoided. I ride my bike to campus most days to avoid this issue.
