Class level is challenging but not ridiculously hard. The math department lacks a little in the professor area because all of them have very thick accents and are hard to understand. Lecture is just about getting the information out there for the student to listen and take notes on, the one-on-one time comes in section with the TA for that class. They know your name and that is where students have the chance to discuss and ask questions.

The global studies major has great classes.

Music 15 Dance 45 and Classics 40 are a must

General education classes are large and the professors don't usually know your name, but upper division major classes are small and there is a lot of class discussion and the professor often knows your name. The academic requirements are reasonable and the classes are good and the professors are great.

Devin

Allie

As at any school, some professors are better than others, but a lot of the classes are interesting and you learn a lot. My favorite class so far was sociology 1.

Our professors do care a lot about their students. Most of the classes are graded fairly reasonably and students are very competitive when it comes to grades.

Katherine

The presidents I contact know my name. My favorite class is my Writing 109ED class-- writing for students who are interested in teaching. Class participation is definitely common, but it is more common in sections rather than in lectures. This is not a vocational school but it prepares you for having many, many options after college, not just one.
