San Diego can be a great character building experience if you?re willing to go outside your comfort zone and try something new. Even if you do not feel yourself cut out to be a leader of large groups, joining some of these leadership activities can help you take charge of your own life, and avoid letting pivotal opportunities slip away.

UCSD is an excellent school to attend that takes hard work, dedication, and persoal motvation. Therfore, in order to be successful at the college level, one must set goals that they are willing to strive for. This means, that lazy, unmotivated people unfortuantely should not attend this school due to the fact that they would not be working towards any goals.

Erika

Someone who gets lost easily (and doesn't like to be lost) or has no sense of adventure. I was very lost my freshman year and this caused me so much stress I managed to gain the freshman 15 despite all the walking. But by sophomore year I had learned to brace the adventure UCSD had to offer, and the following year I was studying in Tokyo and relishing every minute of life there, a path I might never have considered if I hadn't been a UCSD student.

Zhala

James

Th University of California San Diego is a great school without a doubt, but there are some people that just wont enjoy the atmosphere. There is no greek row so the parties are not comparable to other schools such as USC. One of the best things about UCSD is the beaches. If you don't love the beach then it might be hard to love UCSD.

Miao
