There are a mix of students at UCSD just as there would be at any university, however the students here seem to be a bit more focused on their studies than other schools such as say, our neighbor SDSU. It is common for many to pass by a night out because their 20 page lab report is due soon. We still know how to have fun though, it just doesn't happen every weekend. Besides the partying though, the students here are pretty active as far as student organizations and community outreach goes. It is pretty easy to get involved.

Some are very socially awkward and seemingly are devoted to nothing outside of academics. The slight majority are very sociable, yet still highly intelligent, and get along well together which the normal college flair.
