University of California-Los Angeles Top Questions

What kind of person should attend University of California-Los Angeles?

Meera

Someone who is very sociable, is into the sports scene, and possibly into the frat/sorority scene although you don't necessarily have to be in Greek life to have fun.

Daniel

Someone who has many interests, is open-minded, and looking to explore the academic world. People who are friendly and open to meeting others and willing to take on their academic and curricular tasks by themselves will do well here, since there is nobody that is going to hold anyone's hand along the way. Ideal students are those who are driven by a passion to make a change in the world, since the city of Los Angeles is not only a great place for opportunities to do so, but it needs a lot of work as well.

David

Someone who is open to new experiences.

Katie

A person who is looking for diversity, and who is looking to find their niche. There are so many different types of people here that you can really take your pick.

Chi-Lee

Catherine

People who like the big city and don't mind being in a huge population. It would also help if the person had strong will/determination and was willing to work hard.

Jason

One who is ready to live in a big city. Although the school has endless opportunities for any taste (social, academic, etc.), one must keep in mind that Los Angeles is a huge, bustling city with people always on the go, in a hurry and not necessarily all that nice. This culture has to some degree been adopted by the university as well.

Mayra

Someone that is really interested in doing hard work and wants to have many resources to excel in life.

Kenneth

Those that can manage their time VERY well.

Ben

Motivated, Smart, and I'd prefer it if they are attractive too.
