People who needs to commute but live more than an hour drive from here. Also, if you hate Asians, especially Chinese then do not come here. There is really nothing to do here so if you can handle that, then try it.

If you slacked off in highschool and don't plan on changing don't come to this school, because the competition at this school is tough and if you don't try you will be wasting your money. This school is very big, and there are a lot of students here, so if you don't like large schools with class lectures filled with 500 students then don't come here.

If you really don't take school work seriously then you probably shouldn't attend UC Irvine. There can be a lot of homework and studying and if you don't stay on top of it you can fall behind.

People who are lazy and who are not willing to put the time and effort into having a successful academic carreer, also, people who consider themselves "party animals" would likely not do well, additionally, someone who wants the feel of a "big campus" (i.e. a football team, lots of school spirit) may be dissapointed if they attend this university.
